The Town of Mahone Bay seeks proposals from qualified proponents to install mechanical upgrades to two (2) submersible pump lift stations within the Town of Mahone Bay, Nova Scotia. The work consists of but is not limited to: all labour and material associated with the removal and or temporary removal of operational and non-operational components, installation of new components and disposal of used components. Temporary wastewater pumping and or transportation and disposal will be required while maintaining the existing infrastructure in working order. Lift Station #1: Removals, replacement, and installation of two (2) pair of 3” diameter pump guide rail assemblies, two pump discharge connections (pump support base), two (2) 6” gate valves, two (2) 6” check valves, two (2) sets of access hatch hinges and one (1) recessed lockable lift handle assembly. Lift Station #2: Removals, replacement, and installation of two (2) pair of 2” diameter pump guide rail assemblies, two (2) 6” gate valves, and two (2) 6” check valves.
